The Opera Project is a fun-filled and technicolour project designed to bring out the performer within us all.

Bringing together the brilliance of renowned Scottish tenor Nicky Spence with the language expertise of Matteo Dalle Fratte and the musical brilliance of Greek-Canadian soprano Soula Parassidis, we’ll be making a video of ‘Brindisi’ from La Traviata, bringing this timeless and rousing opera chorus to life with a healthy measure of Stay At Home Choir fun and magic.

Meet our Guests

  • Nicky Spence OBE

Internationally acclaimed Scottish tenor, Nicky Spence was recently awarded an OBE for services to music. His voice has graced prestigious stages worldwide, and he is a charismatic advocate for the power of opera and singing to change lives.

  • Soula Parassidis

Greek-Canadian opera singer and vocal coach Soula Parassidis is one of the founders of Living Opera, an organisation which aims to help people live to their fullest potential both on, and off-stage.  Soula's expertise will make sure that your journey with Brindisi is not only educational but transformative.

  • Matteo Dalle Fratte

A frequent contributor to SAHC projects, Matteo’s fun-filled approach to language coaching infuses meaning into every note.  He studied singing in Italy with Paolo Badoer, a pupil of Gilda Dalla Rizza, Puccini’s favourite soprano.
