Meet Jason Max Ferdinand

Guided by the world-renowned Jason Max Ferdinand, we are delighted to welcome the legendary Jason Max Ferdinand as our guest conductor for this project! Jason is a visionary choral conductor, composer, and teacher whose work has captivated audiences worldwide.

Jacob and Jason met in London back in 2013 when Jacob was attending one of Jason's concerts with The Aeolians of Oakwood University. Theirs was a performance that was really life changing for Jacob and he vowed to one day write a piece for them and five years later, he did. World O World appears on his Album Djesse Vol. 4 recorded in Nashville with Jason and The Aeolians of Oakwood University in September 2018. Under his leadership, the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers made their UK debut last year as part of the BBC Proms singing World O World in its European Debut.

Jason brings his unparalleled artistry and passion for music to this collaboration, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all participants.

FAQs

  • I'm unable to join the live rehearsals, can I watch them back later?

    Yes! All of our projects are streamed live to Youtube. You can join in live in Zoom or on Youtube and all rehearsals will be made available to watch back as many times as you like. (usually within 24 hours)

  • I've not sung in an in-person choir before and don't have much/any choir experience, can I still take part?

    Absolutely!
    You will get all the learning resources needed including a downloadable score, guide tracks, Umix and will be supported by Tori and Jamie throughout the process. A basic music reading ability will benefit you.

  • Do I need to be an SAHC Subscriber to join this project?

    No you don't! Anyone can join this project at any time while the project is open. Subscribers have access to additional workshop content separate from our regular projects; and also receive a 20% discount on all projects. See this page for more information.
